Australia-Wide Delivery
Understand how ice baths and chillers are delivered across Australia — postcode checks, freight options, access requirements and typical timing.
How delivery works
Ice baths and chillers are bulky items that ship via freight rather than standard parcel post. The process typically works as follows:
- Order placed: Crocpad confirms your order and checks your delivery postcode.
- Dispatch: Items are packed and dispatched from the warehouse. Most orders ship within 1–3 business days.
- Freight transit: A freight carrier transports the item to your nearest depot or directly to your address. Transit times vary by location (see below).
- Delivery: The carrier contacts you to arrange a delivery window. Someone must be present to receive the delivery.
Typical transit times
| Region | Typical transit time | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sydney metro | 1–3 business days | From dispatch; same-state warehouse |
| Melbourne metro | 2–4 business days | From dispatch |
| Brisbane metro | 2–4 business days | From dispatch |
| Perth metro | 5–8 business days | From dispatch; longer due to distance |
| Adelaide metro | 3–5 business days | From dispatch |
| Regional & remote | 5–12 business days | May require depot pickup |
These are estimates from dispatch, not from order. Delays can occur during peak periods or due to weather and carrier capacity.
Sydney delivery information
Sydney is a primary delivery zone for Crocpad products. Most Sydney metro postcodes (2000–2234) receive delivery within 1–3 business days of dispatch. Some considerations for Sydney deliveries:
- Apartment buildings: If you live in an apartment, check whether the freight carrier can access your building's loading dock or lift. Some carriers deliver to the ground floor only.
- Parking: The delivery vehicle may need clear access to your front entrance. If parking is restricted, let the carrier know in advance.
- Inner-city narrow streets: Some inner-Sydney streets are too narrow for large freight vehicles. The carrier may arrange a smaller vehicle or depot pickup.
Campbelltown delivery information
Campbelltown (postcode 2560) and surrounding suburbs in Sydney's south-west fall within the Sydney metro delivery zone. Transit times are typically 2–4 business days from dispatch. The area is well-served by freight carriers, and most residential addresses are accessible without special arrangements. If you live in a newer estate with unsealed roads or restricted access, mention this when the carrier contacts you.
Access requirements
Before your delivery arrives, check:
- Clear pathway: Ensure there is a clear path from the delivery point to where you plan to set up the ice bath. Measure doorways, gates and corridors.
- Weight capacity: A filled ice bath weighs 200–400 kg. If you are placing it on a balcony or raised deck, confirm the structure can support the weight.
- Someone to receive: An adult must be present to accept delivery and sign for the item.
- Space for packaging: Ice baths and chillers arrive in large boxes. Have space ready to unpack and dispose of packaging.
Remote and regional deliveries
Delivery to remote and regional postcodes is available but may take longer and incur a freight surcharge. In some cases, the carrier will deliver to the nearest freight depot for you to collect. Check your postcode at checkout or contact Crocpad before ordering if you are unsure.
